What a classic photo I took
A very frozen Cass River
Bavarian Inn Lodge TV shot
Uncomfortable, unlike the original plan of N.Y. (damn snow)
Jacuzzi (we had sex in here)
Always wanted a glass shower (1st thing thats going in my house)
Where we got massages

First and foremost I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

We arrived to our room at Bavarian Inn Lodge around 5pm, the drive their was nice and short and weather wasn't a factor. Aissa and me had scheduled massages for 7pm so we had sex, showered, and went to a few small stores at River Place shopping Mall to kill some time. I had an hour long massage and quickly learned that my hips are way out of alignment and was told probably 6 times to go see a Chiropractor about it. My lower back always hurts from my poor computer chair posture often for at least 8 hours a day but have sat horrible for 15 hour sessions straight. After the 1st when my new Insurance I bought kicks in I will go to the Chiropractor. We then did a steam room which I couldn't really handle (Acuttane) but did about 10 minutes worth, showered there, went to eat at Zehnders. The food was fantastic. We arrived back at our hotel in a blizzard of snow and Aissa started up the Jacuzzi, we had sex, I showered, then began to feel dizzy, burning all over, and really bad back pain. I think all the hot then cold really fucked with my skin because on this medicine it says to take mild showers, I got really dry skin for the next week. Despite drinking water I was still dehydrated from the massage (always drink about 40oz of water afterwards to prevent this).

We both had trouble sleeping and ended up talking about some really serious things about us. I would imagine at sometime most couples have them, we basically talked about the future and us and everything. I'm just assuming here but I would guess by this time next year or the spring in 2009 we will be living together and most likely married. Her family likes me, mine likes her, blah blah blah. I don't really want to share a whole lot about this conversation but I at least pointed you in the right direction to make assumptions. Currently 12-24-07 I'm not engaged or anything but this is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. I'm very happy being with Aissa and she for sure makes me a much better person.

On Sunday we got up at about 9am and I lit a cigarette inside my hotel room which is something that is quickly not being accepted. I showered yet again, we grabbed breakfast at Oma's that is located in our hotel. We then went back to all the little shops at River Place and bought a bunch of stuff. We went back to Zehnder's for Jam and bread and treats to bring home. Our final stop was Branners the Christmas store. The story is simply amazing and really puts one in the Holiday mood. We got customized ornaments saying Dave & Aissa 2007. The roads were pretty damn bad driving back late Sunday afternoon, when I reached Hall Rd the roads we pretty much the worst I have ever seen (saying a lot for Macomb County).

New Years Eve: The old me would be hammered somewhere with a $180 bar tab, the new me is going to a Red Wings game (Christ we payed a lot for the tickets), then we are staying at the Detroit Marriott in the RenCen downtown. I will be sure to take pictures from the evening.

I'm also thinking about starting this little heads up SNG (sit n go) challenge with myself. I have never really played many of these. I would keep playing more normal games (which is mostly heads up cash games as of right now with a little 6max thrown in) but this would be for others to track my progress and can see if I shine or not. I would only play these for like 4 hours a week max (kinda like playing a video game or some shit).

People often say they have no clue how to start playing online poker but would like to try it out. Of course I love hearing this because these players will 100% lose all there money within days to possibly as long as a few weeks, they keep the poker economy healthy.

I have no plans to teach you. I get paid for that by 2 students (who are moving up and playing very good limit hold em). This would be like I'm starting at very low stakes heads up SNG's and trying to move up to the higher ones. I have very little knowledge about HU SNG's because I never really played them. I should also note that I'm not looking to tutor anyone else at this point. My schedule is full between their lessons and my playing, and a Lake soon to be covered in ice to fish on.

The benefit of playing them is that it's heads up and matches are short. If you play the $11+.50 ones (very low stakes) and have a 10%ROI you could make around 9.50 an hour. I'm quite experienced playing in heads up cash games and a big winner in those but I have never played the HU SNG structure which is just a 2 person tournament which is termed SNG for Sit and Go. A small amount of money will get you the same as a bigger bankroll by playing these. If you should follow my advice, and by following it I mean you treat it as the bible and obey it and never do dumb stuff, I would imagine you would be making $20/hr within a month at the most.

This would be a new form of poker for me and also one which requires minimal money and I could demonstrate that by posting my own results. In no way is this how I'm going to be making my income but it would be a neat project. My money comes from playing 2/4-3/6 nl 6max and 200HUNL and 400HUNL, and big O8 games (30/60-100/200). This might just save one person from living a life like Chappelle on the episode of Wakarnolds where his bitch is cheating on him, he gets jumped, then his bitch is like nigga you smell like fries.

That is a world that must be dark. I have never worked fast food or had any horse shit jobs which is something I'm quite proud of. I had a shitty wear house job but eventually rose up the corporate ladder a few steps then quit. The main purpose of this challenge would be to show people how to build a bankroll with a minimal investment of like $250. I would only work on this for a few hours a week. This would also allow me to learn the same way a noob would. I do have some interest in learning HU SNG's. I would start a new blog for this and I for sure plan to set some links up on this blog really soon. I have been swamped with stuff to do and have taken some time off poker. I love Christmas and am enjoying this little vacation before a big 2008. I have a whole list of stuff to do tomorrow.

Merry Christmas

Amazed by other people plus much more

I was playing very high stakes Omaha hi/low the other night ($200/400) and couldn't believe the chat box, which is annoying and I usually have turned off. Railtards (broke people who watch the high stakes games and type). I was asked for $5 to $20 about 50 times during a 4 hour heads up session. I was told I was a God, a horrible player, a lucky donk, a smart player, awesome, and obv. you foul names. With over $10,000 at the table I really don't care what a broke person watching my game thinks of me, if they were good then they would be sitting. I sold 30% of my action and made about $6,000 in the game -30%.

A group of poker friends and I were coin flipping (playing a pot limit game and each putting in the max preflop regardless of our hand), I was asked by a railtard to transfer him $50, we flip for it, if he wins then he will send back $50, obv. this makes zero sense and I ignored the offer that is very -ev. When we flip we make sure we have enough people to block people that will sit out and just try to catch a great hand the first hand and make a shit load of money.

My heads up no limit hold em game has been going good, one really bad day but 4 great days. I've been playing 2 tables at a time to concentrate more (6max games I usually play at least 6).
I guess I'm just so surprised at how dumb people are. Instead of begging for money on a poker site they should read poker forums, poker books, or watch and try to learn from great players. When I played limit hold em I would watch great players, learn, and alter my game, I went from small stakes to high stakes in about 18 months (.5/1 to 30/60 and some 50/100, 100/200). I would sadly imagine these railtards wearing the texas hold em jackets that can be found at target, wallmart, kmart, etc. lol.

I've played about 4 hu nl sessions against a complete maniac, I have won about 8 buyins off him and he continues to play me (which is a good thing). I don't claim to know everything about nl hu but I can spot some really big holes in his game. He folds about 9/10 times to a check raise on the flop, I do this with any part of the board or a good starting hand. He quickly sucked out multiple times on Monday night and got up 4 buyins but I cut my losses to 1 buyin and he left.

Trip report from Frankenmuth coming soon with pictures. We made what we could of the weekend, I'm still kinda bummed about missing N.Y. around Christmas time.

We almost made it

Unpacking from N.Y. - packing for Frankenmuth
Awesome slippers I bought at Mens Warehouse while waiting for my suit to get pressed for the trip (only like $20)
Proof we were flying to LaGuardia. LGA flight 4883 gate B15

to N.Y. but bad weather forced the plane to turn around somewhere around Philadelphia - New Jersey. Yesterday was a horrible day. We worked hard planning things, buying tickets, and scheduling a fun but busy weekend in N.Y. My gf worked her magic on the phone and got us a full refund on flight and hotel, I would highly advise staying at 70 Park Avenue if you ever go to N.Y. there service while canceling was awesome so there service while actually staying must be even better, if at all possible. We were talking about flying to Vegas, Miami, or California but she couldn't get more time off work (she's kinda a big shot, despite this her boss is an asshole). Were probably going to get a nice hotel here for Saturday night and try to salvage the weekend although I'm still pissed and my weekend is ruined. We will probably lose $200 each of Cirque De Sole tickets unless someone bought them off ebay. I really wanted to go to N.Y. around Christmas so I don't plan on visiting until next year. I heard N.Y. is getting pounded with like a foot of snow presently. The flight was horrible (my ears popped worse than my flight to Houston 2 years ago, although they popped out much easier this time). I came home at 10:30pm with a migraine. I think were going to Frankenmuth which is somewhere I have never been.

LONG UPDATE

Here are a few pictures of the 24"inch beast monitor I bought several weeks ago
I quickly just opened 12 tables to show that I can 12 table, I wasn't playing any of the limit games.

First off I would like to talk about Michael Vick and "what they doin to his mama." Black people seem so concerned about Michael Vick's "mama". Perhaps he should think about mama while he is hanging dogs. If one doesn't hang a dog then "mama" will be alright. White people are of course doing unfair things to his "mama" because he fought animals for entertainment, gambled on this entertainment, lied, then tested positive for Marijuana while awaiting sentencing which is very stupid. I personally am a dog lover so I think dog fighting is sick, sadly I'm confident to say that dog fighting goes on within 30 minutes of my home. I also feel Michael Vick's "mama" did a poor job as a "mama". Michael Vick has proved he is a sick human being and his brother Marcus who played Quarterback for Virginia Tech (same College Michael Vick played for) had the better arm and equally amazing speed yet proved to be classless off the field and on the field with simple stupidity. Black people hate white people more than white people hate black people. If I moved to some area in Detroit it would not be safe for me a white male, on the flip if a black person moves to Clinton Twp. they are safer from their own people and white people would be accepting to some degree (very rare for a white person to kill them).

PETA people and I generally share different opinions on things but I'm very glad they are all over this Vick case. They will protest when he gets out of jail and outside any team that brings Vick in for a try out. I was very disgusted when watching the Monday night football game between Atlanta and New Orleans in Atlanta (same day Vick was sentenced), many black people were wearing Michael Vick jerseys, holding signs such as "keep your head up Mike", players after scoring a Touchdown lifted their jersey to expose a black t -shirt saying "Free Mike Vick". It is very clear that black America shows their stupidity by believing that white America is incarcerating an innocent man. I would be curious how many white people would be holding signs that say free Tom Brady if Tom Brady was involved in dog fighting. I would guess zero.

I leave for N.Y. tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 and land at La Guardia at 5:19. I still need to pack and pick up a few last minute things for the trip. We purchased tickets for a water cruise to see several destinations, set up brunch at Tavern on the green (which is a very expensive place to eat at Central Park), scheduled massages in our room for Saturday night, bought tickets to see Cirque de Sole (were like 10th row), were doing tons of stuff and I don't really feel like writing it all. I'm bringing my digital camera so I will of course share pictures when I get back. The trip is from Thursday -Sunday night. Since I have more free time these days I want to go on 3 very nice and expensive vacations in 2008. I was planning on playing 7,500 hands before I left but I ran like God, played a maniac, outplayed him significantly and won around $6,500 in 3 hours playing heads up no limit hold em. We started at 2/4 and played up to 5/10 (400 and 1,000 buy in games).

What else can I say about my life? I'm happy personally and professionally. I have proved in 4 months that I deserve to play poker for a living, have the records to back it up, and have generally made anyone that thought it's rigged, a dumb idea, or a small time money making potential look like a downs baby. I have the best gf a guy could ask for, great family, great job, soon to be ice fishing time (can't wait to run the 4wheelers out on the lake), a fantastic expensive vacation starting tomorrow, and no outside distractions.

I've never really had a chance to play with little kids, I'm an only child, don't know people with kids, etc. My gf has a large family and her niece has spent the night at her house several times now and I have had some of my first real interactions with kids. I quickly realize how much energy they have, it's simply amazing. Ana is 3 and curious about the world around her and is a blast to be around. Yesterday I helped bake, she helped me fix Aissa's computer and also helped me fix the VCR, I participated in a Barney sing a long. She has really begun to like me and even calls me Tito Dave which means Uncle Dave. Amazingly I had a really good time doing these things. The really cool part about little kids is how pure the world still is to them, sadly as one grows and experiences the ups and downs of life the pureness becomes jaded.

A legend dies

I stated among the few people out of billions world wide, several years ago on myspace that David "Chip" Reese is one of those I would love to meet. Chip Reese is a Poker legend. His story is inspiring, interesting, breath taking, shocking, and simply remarkable. I have never heard anyone mention anything negative about him. In the only interview I have ever heard he acted as a gentlemen and with class (which is saying something for Poker players). His story is something I will attempt to sum up in what little media attention he has received (by his own wishes).

Chip Reese arrived in Las Vegas during the 1970's after graduating from Dartmouth and on his way to Law School at Stanford University in California. He had only a few hundred dollars with him and made so much money playing 7 card stud (over $500,000 back in the 70's) over the summer that he never made it to Law School. Chip Reese is regarded as the best Poker player ever by his peers. He has won at the highest level cash games for over 30 years. He wrote the best chapter I have ever read in the famous Super System book that has made Doyle Brunson famous.

Chip was never really shown on TV because he didn't play tournaments because there was far more money to be made playing the big cash games. Chip stated he wanted to stay out of the limelight. Vegas in 1970 was corrupt. There was a very large Mafia presence. It was smart to flaunt nothing back then.

Chip has a rare ability that only he was blessed with; his steam control. It would be near impossible for any human to play the highest stakes (sometimes for over 3 days straight, with no sleep, while losing 7 figures and play "your game"). I have never met the man although a close friend of mine brought me back a Poker Chip signed by Chip Reese while at the WSOP in 2005. My friend approached Chip sometime around Midnight when he was leaving Bobby's Room at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and asked if he would mind signing a chip. I was told Chip was gracious and signed the poker chip and chatted with my friend Matt for about 10 minutes about Poker, life, and sports. I would pay a lot of money to switch places with Matt in that instance. I would give up possessions, talents, and even years off my life to chat with not only my favorite poker player but a person I admire for there actions away from the table. I rarely get jealous of other people but I was and still am very jealous that I didn't go to Vegas that Summer. I had planned on renting a large house with several friends for about 1 month. I instead stayed home and took Summer classes at College.

I found some really cool stuff and quotes about Chip I will attach now. The man has true stories that anyone could listen to for days.

I have no clue the limits it was small like 1/2 nl, or 2/5nl. I remember he just sat down, to waste sometime, before he had to leave somewhere. We were all talking and I can remember him talking alot about girls, because the kids like me, were just chit chatting about them. He started saying about his childhood, and what not cracking jokes. 1. But the thing that stuck out to me the most, was what he did. A man, about 25 years old, real nice quiet man, but looked real down, and poorish, was in a hand with Chip. I believe the man had AA/KK and pushed PF, and chip called with AKss, and flopped a flush. We all could tell the man was about to cry, and didn't even say a word. 2. The man went walking away, while chip got out of his seat, to catch this guy. He walked him back near the table, and took his wallet out. He told the man listen I am not going to say I am sorry for what I did, but I do feel bad. Take this and build your dreams upon it, because I feel some potential in your game. Come back 20 years from now, and I will remember you. Chip smacked a bundle of 100's into the mans hand, maybe 15 or so.

3.
one day while playing in a 200 400 game chip was first on the list. i told him i was quitting in a round or two and he should stick around. he said he would give me 200 to leave on my next blind. i said dont bother as i likely am going anyway. business is businees chip said as he threw me two blackbirds (100 dollar chips).

And some stories about what money means to a gambler after living a life where it's essentially a tool and not a means to an end:

1.
Chip Reese had something like 250k or 500k worth of chips in a bag. He put this bag on top of his car while getting into it one day and accidently drove around Vegas with the bag on top of his car. When he arrived at his destination, he realized his mistake. The bag was still there. he had been playing heads up lowball with archie karas (that guy that went on the heater of all heaters at the craps table) and when he busted him, chip lent him some money so that he could continue. when he met him to get paid back he somehow left the money sitting on the top of his car.

2.
Chip: Yeah the worst was I was stuck about 900k one day in the 80s and had to quit the game to go to my son's soccer game.
Old guy: Well did they win the game? Chip: I didnt even watch it I was too busy being pissed about being down 900k.

3.
my best story about him is the day he had to collect 1 mill from a bet and he told the guy to come to the ball park were his son was playing a base ball game he put the mill in the tunk of his car in a paper bag and went to watch the game...

4.
Chip moved into a new house that had a massive water leak. The first month's bill was like $2000. He paid it. The next month's bill was like $2000. He paid it. He didn't really know what things cost or what money was worth. Then they discovered the leak. Gamblers and leaks. I don't know if my numbers are right.

And some stories about what kind of a gentleman he was:

1.
Chip was playing in the big game, and the game ran for a while. He ended up playing something like 3 days straight. Finally his girlfriend came to pick him up from the bellagio. When he got outside, he felt refreshed by the fresh air, and decided to take his gf out for dinner and a movie.

2.
this is from a guy that i've played cards with who works at UNLV doing sports medicine or something like that for the sports teams at the college:
We lost a good one today. Although I had only known Chip for six or seven months, he made a pretty big impact on me. I looked forward to the phone call each week where I updated him on his son's progress at UNLV. I used to be a nervous wreck when I saw his number, but quickly realized he was just one of the guys. He wanted nothing more than to see his son graduate from UNLV's prestigous College of Hotel Administration and hopefully have a successful college baseball career along the way. I never wanted Chip to know that I was a fan of poker; I didn't want to come off as someone who was helping Casey hoping to get something in return. I slipped one day and let Casey know that I was a pretty big fan of poker. He told Chip and I was greeted at our next appointment by autographed copies of Supersystem I and II; signed by authors that had been sitting at the Big Game at the Bellagio. Just a few weeks ago, Chip reserved a suite at the Bellagio for the weekend and secured me front row seats at Cirque de Soleil's "O" show. As appreciative as I was, I told Chip that I could not accept the gift. I told him that I hadn't accomplished anything with Casey yet, and that I would accept that gift on his graduation day. I think he was more impressed that (with all the grease-balls in this city), there are still a few good people out there that really care about helping out. That is why his passing today sucks so bad. Chip was a great guy. He enjoyed taking care of the little guy. He loved his son and daughter and all of the good people that surrounded them. I looked at his number in my cell phone today and just couldn't even comprehend the fact that I would not receive or send a call to that number anymore. I don't know that I'll be able to delete his number for quite a while. It hasn't yet sunk in. Today's tragedy was a complete shock to those that loved Chip; he will be missed.

And finally, some Chip Reese quotes:

"I had to make a choice between being a lawyer or a professional gambler. I chose the more honorable of the two."

- Chip Reese

“I’ll stop playing at my funeral, and only God knows what I’ll do after that.” -Chip Reese

Hopefully, everyone who reads this blog read these and will pass some of these stories along. Chip was a class act and a great guy.

I respect his beliefs and values more than his poker still (which is phenomenal). I guess part of me thought I would meet him in the near future (since my bankroll isn't in the millions it wouldn't be in Bobby's Room). I have plenty of life things I would like to blog about but find in necessary and correct to put him before myself. Not only did the world lose a world class poker player it also lost a fantastic person.

TILTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Bad play has caused me to tilt and lose more money. I read a post about how when you feel your going to play bad to go online and instantly buy something expensive for yourself. I purchased a Nintendo DS and have been testing my brain daily for the past week. Age 20 is considered perfect and my brain level is 21. I have beaten everyone I know in the Math section. I scored 100% and finished in 14 seconds. The Math problems are very simple but writing them down quickly is the difficult part. I was actually doing the problems 2 in advance in my head while writing the current problems answers. I also bought Call Of Duty 4 for Xbox 360.

I feel I have let Max (my coach) down and also myself. Max has given me some incredible knowledge and friendship. Despite this my own horrible mistakes have lead me to feel failure. When people assume I sit on my ass all day, wake up at 3pm, work for 2 hours, and jack off for the rest of the day it pisses me off. I work harder than you. I have much more stress than you. I would love for someone to explain their job and how they think it's more stressful. I would assume they would say something like well the job sucks and making money is stressful. My simple answer is; I can work more hours than you in 2 weeks and actually lose money.

I read another article about how a successful poker player quit his job as an air traffic controller and played poker for one year and made about 35% more money, got the perks of being self employed but actually considered it much more stressful than his previous job as an air traffic controller (often considered the most stressful job to have).

Ever throw up after a bad day of work? I have multiple times (from high stress levels not to relieve stress or try to be skinny or whatever). The good comes with the bad people. When you run bad and play bad it feels like your 6 and your dog died. Poker is a game about exploiting edges you have. Edges can turn quickly and you can lose your edge quickly and be forced to use skills to determine where you are in the hand.

You, along with countless others assume that it really matters if you have AA, if I call your raise with say 22 and the flop comes Q62, you would automatically assume your AA is still good and I would take your whole stack, you would be confused, pocket pairs flop a set 1 in 7 times so it's right to play them and often you will win a big stack when you do hit the set.

Here's an example of losing your edge in a hand quickly, lets assume again you have AcAh and raise preflop and 2 people flat call your raise, the flop comes Jd 10d 6c. Now your hand is not nearly as strong, depending on the players one could easily hold J10, 66, Axd, 89, 78d, KQ, KQs, 1010, or even JJ if the player is a nit. Again you would assume AA is good because it was good preflop and stack off with it. Off the top of my head the best I would assume against 2 random players would be about 60% post flop. You have to play your cards, your opponents, the board, bet sizing, patterns, time tells, are they slow playing, should you raise, what if they re raise, should I check, maybe check raise, whats this guys stack, how much money does the other player have, ok if player one bets and player two calls am I going to raise, check, or even fold, what if player 2 raises then I should probably fold right?, maybe he is a moron and I should call the raise oop and get it in on the turn or just shove now over top of them both.

It's a complex game that is never solved, perfected, or even close to being a complete science. Winning is possible in the short term and long term by exploiting others weaknesses.

Tomorrow I need to focus, accept losses, and play good because I know I can. I need to think about the long run and not the short run. I need to accept bad beats because you know what I put them on people too. I sucked out massive twice today, then made a bad bluff followed by a bad call on my part and boom back down to being up like $5. It's on me, I can't blame others for giving me the edge and getting unlucky, I have all the tools I need and now it's up to me to use them.

I've played awesome for 5,000 hands yet I'm running horrible

I have played the best poker in a long time this week yet I'm running horrible
QQ vs. KQ on the 48QK board all in he hits a K on the river, money all in after turn.
AA vs. 99 all in preflop 9 hits on the flop
Q4s vs. Q6 all in on river on the QQ346 board
AK vs. 33 all in on the AQ5 flop, turn 3, river 3 (that one pissed me off so much I needed to quit the session)
AK vs. AQ all in after the turn board is AJ62, he hits a Q on the river

For some odd reason I can't post hand histories in the blog. The most important thing to remember in these situations is to not tilt. I did a fantastic job of controlling my anger. It's always better to quit than to continue when you're upset. All of these hands happened today except the Q4 vs. Q6 hand. It's not a bad beat but one hell of a cooler (very cold). Stars and FTP have both butt fucked me with no lube. I'm yet to get my money all in the pot as an underdog which means I'm playing awesome. Despite these horrible bad beats and coolers I'm still running slightly under half of what I expect to run.

I'm excited for New York which is 16 days away. It will be a busy (site seeing) and at times relaxing vacation. Since we have a King Deluxe Suite or whatever you can actually have massages in your room (which is balla). You have to pay for the massages but I plan to get a long one. I will also be fucking my girlfriend everywhere. She paid for her end of the trip just to let everyone know that she is not some leech. 70 Park Avenue also has the balla robes that you use to dry off in. For those unfamiliar with New York we will be staying in Midtown Manhattan (fucking expensive). Our hotel is on Park Avenue (check your Monopoly board). Around my Birthday I think we may take another vacation, this time to somewhere warm (Vegas, L.A. or perhaps Costa Rica).

I've hired a Poker coach for 5 lessons. I'm NOT broke or really struggling, I just wanted to sharpen up my game a little bit. I've hired an excellent 600NL -1000NL player to coach me at 400NL (although I have the money to play 600NL) of course I play higher games in other forms (O8 and Limit and recently H.O.R.S.E.) I've been running at around 3.00ptbb/hr and want to get that up to 5ptbb/hr before I play 600NL again.

I've handled so much stupid shit in the past 2 weeks it's nauseating.
Got new phone (number still not switched over after a week, 3 calls to T-Mobile)
Booked N.Y. trip
All my Christmas shopping is done (except Aissa's IPOD) I also bought her an autographed Brandon Inge baseball and a very expensive case with a Tigers logo and nameplate.
Downloaded CD's for Aissa
Picked up all the leafs
Oil change
Cleaned basement
Ordered new printer cartridges
Looked at Insurance Plans for 2008 (waiting for my Mom so she can be there cause she knows insurance shit better than me and I know a lot).
Had a lesson with Max (poker coach)
Met Aissa's family for Thanksgiving
Brushed Max (the dog) countless times
Made my Christmas list
Went to Michigan vs. OSU game
2 hours worth of fixing my parents computer
Dentist appt.
Return Dentist appt. for fillings
Dermatologist appt. (1 month left) my face looks flawless according to others
Football blog
Bought a new wallet finally
Prescription pick up at CVS
Haircut
and probably at least 15 other things that are slipping my mind

I bought a new phone 11-20 from the T-Mobile stand at Macomb Mall
11-21 I called to have my Nextel number switched to my T-Mobile phone (called T-Mobile). They said 24 hours it will be switched.
11-23 I call T-Mobile because the number hasn't been transfered and they said the computer system had a glitch and a programmer will manually import the Nextel number, will be done within 24 hours.
11-26 Today I went back to Macomb Mall they called T-Mobile and were told the same thing I was. I'm pissed because this sounds simple and pissed about the customer service.
If by 11-28 this Wed. I don't have the number switched I will use my 14 day return policy and go elsewhere. This is getting ridiculous.

Our original ticket plans fell through a few days before my post about going to the Michigan vs. Ohio State game. She thought her Cousin (who goes to U of M) could get us student section seats but I guess she couldn't because this is such a big game. On Thursday night we were talking about the game and I said it's Henne, Hart, and Long's last game in Maze and Blue and probably Lloyd Carr's last game coaching the team. I expected Lloyd to be carried off the field if Michigan wins. Michigan vs. Ohio State is the largest rivalry in College Football by far. I learned at a young age to hate Ohio State.

Anyhow my girlfriend surprised me at about noon on the phone saying she got us tickets for the game as an early Christmas gift for me. I should note that these tickets were very expensive ($220 each). I awoke early after saying a prayer the night before regarding a Michigan win. 6:15 I got up on Saturday, picked her up at 9am and shot down I94 to Ann Arbor, we could pick up the tickets after 10, we picked them up at 10:30, parked, made the walk, picked up some hot chocolate, and sat down in our seats.

Michigan played horrible, the worst I have seen this team play. People say The Big House is the quietest Stadium in College Football. I can state through experience that the Stadium was deafening. It was so loud and people stomping on the cement made the body vibrate. 111,000 and some odd people were at the game, 2nd largest crowd in College Football history. I wanted to take a picture of this 4-6 year old kid wearing a shirt that said "Friends don't let friends root for Ohio State" the shirt was maze and blue and I thought was awesome. The kid has a good Dad. The weather was bad (37 degrees and rain). It rained the whole game and came down harder in the 4th Quarter. It's one thing to have your girlfriend purchase expensive tickets as a great early Christmas present but it's another to find a girl that will not complain about sitting in cold, raining weather for over 3 hours.

There was an inflatable Penis floating around in the student section that said "Tressel Loves Penis" Jim Tressel is the head coach for Ohio State. Very Very funny. (see pictures)

I went out for a fantastic brunch today in celebration of my Mom's Birthday and missed my picks for the N.F.L early games. I had a small winning day, shouldn't have bet the Pitt. game.

Aissa and myself booked our vacation to New York tonight. We had about 6 hotels we really liked and cut it down to one. We will be leaving Detroit at 3:30pm 12-13 and arriving in New York around 5:30 (LGA) and taking our reserved transportation (Lincoln Towncar) to 70 Park Avenue (our Hotel's name). We are staying in the King Deluxe Suite. We will be leaving 12-16 at 8:30. I'm not bragging about taking a Towncar although it's much nicer than a cab or van which are other options. We haven't planned times for our site seeing which will need to do some research on. I don't feel like posting a link but if you're curious to see the room go to www.70parkave.com and click on King Deluxe Suite, not very complicated.

Aissa isn't mad keen on having her picture posted on the blog. My blog is cross posted on a poker forum (which is full of virgins lol). In case you were wondering why there is no pic of us on my blog. We sadly forgot to take a picture at the game but we were seated in section 39 row 85 seats 24&25 in case anyone is wondering.

I'm exhausted so it's off to bed.

Very quickly

I bought a 24" Gateway monitor today. I can easily 8-12 table. Gotta spend money to make money. I had a nice 19" monitor but I wanted a bigger one. Pictures will be posted once I mess around with my camera and turn the flash back on.

I'm going to the U of M vs. Ohio State game on Saturday. Tickets are going for around $400 per seat and up. My gf's cousin goes there and got us two tickets in the student section for next to nothing (like $50 total). I'm very excited to go see another U of M game despite their record this season. I grew up hating OSU, it's natural and a way of life. People in Ohio grew up to hate U of M.

I took a beating on my N.F.L. games this week. This is why I used my statistics smarts to allow for these things. Some teams choked big time (Colts and Lions and of course Minnesota not scoring to hit the over for me).

New York is still a go and am super excited. Planning on going 12-13 to 12-16.

I'm hunting for medical insurance right now. I'm still covered through the end of the year but I need to get insurance since I will be self employed at the start of 2008 and probably forever. Thankfully, I'm very educated in medical insurance (my job for 6 years) and my Mom is even more educated so we will be able to find a good deal. I don't need anything really good but just something to have in case of a car accident or broken bone or whatever. I don't understand people that don't get insurance. What happens if you get into a car accident and get a hospital bill for 23k which is very common? I guess you would file bankruptcy and fuck yourself in the butt. I just want something basic to protect myself which I consider a smart thing to do.

This monitor is unreal and has such a great picture. My ballin poker friends diss me cause I was just using a basic 19" monitor (although most people have the lol 15.5 inch big ass nasty monitor). I was planning on buying the 30" Samsung but it's just too big and I don't need it. The 24" is perfect for me. I do plan to ball out and get nice stuff but it's hard to fit a nice big desk in my room. When I move out I plan to have an extra bedroom with a nice desk, and chair, 2 50 inch plasmas on the wall and overall just a nice office/ sports room. It's dumb to pimp out my room right now simply because there is no room for anything.

Time to watch Monday night football and handle the loose ends of today.

H.O.R.S.E.

I've been playing a lot of 50/100 and 100/200 H.O.R.S.E. the last week. H.O.R.S.E. is a rotation game consisting of 1. Limit hold em 2. Limit Omaha hi/low 3. Razz 4. Stud hi and 5. Stud 8I'm bad at Razz but can hold my own in most other games. Every 10 hands the game switches to another form of poker. The general public (you) are considered retarded and only capable of watching no limit and occasionally limit hold em. I have no edge in Razz and Stud hi and am probably a fairly big loser overall in the two.

40 hours between M and F is what I want to accomplish this week. My Mom is in far better shape than expected after surgery. I'm taking a small beating on the football games today but some teams have flat out choked (colts and Minnesota for not scoring despite being at the GB 6 yard line) Of course since I'm far superior in Math and Statistics than my readers the system I created allows for losses. The only reason I created my sports betting blog (which you should have bookmarked but can find a few posts down) is to brag and have proof that I can earn far more interest on investment than your stock broker. If you don't know a bookie you can bet with an offshore casino and sports book such as bodoglife.com (I bet boxing there fairly large and have had no problems getting my money). I'm thinking about trying to develop a system to bet on N.B.A. and N.H.L. games. I've been asked this before but want it to be known that everyone (including myself) that is highly educated in Math laughs at people that struggle and yes we feel far more superior, I'm also a very arrogant U of M fan. Do you need higher level math skills in life? no. Do you need a 14 inch Penis in life? no but it's a lot cooler having it.

I got a 5mph over ticket on Tuesday. I paid it, no points, I'm pissed about it because it really was only going 5 over. It's not like I was going 15 over and he knocked it down. It was in Harper Woods which is a poor version of Grosse Pointe. I was treated horrible by a police officer that makes what I laugh at for a living. He was a dick and made it a point to mention I was getting the ticket off the get go, he gave me a Breathalyzer, I don't drink I just make money and sleep with my hot Asian girlfriend. Ohh wow Peyton Manning just threw interception #5.

I'm getting tired so I don't wish to write much longer. This cops wife is probably a size 12 with warts. Whatever I'm 23 and fuck a size 4 Asian. What do cops make per year? 26k? cause that's my informed guess. AND I THINK IT'S FUNNY. I'm itching to get out of Clinton Twp even if it's only like 30 minutes away or so. My girlfriend is looking to buy a house really soon (because she has a good head on her shoulders and works hard), I obv. don't want to move right in and get a house or place together but who knows. Things are going awesome and it's been two great months together. I have a great people and balance in my life which makes my job 10x easier.

In closing: Aissa says I should post a picture of how awesome my face looks (although she liked me for me when I met her and Accutane had it all fucked up looking). I think I bragged enough tonight and I don't really care what anyone else thinks.
1. superior math skills
2. lol at police and income and size 12 women
3. not really bragging but tv execs think you are too stupid to show other forms of poker on tv (although I have heard they are showing some other forms but I haven't seen it).

Jesus Kansas Football Head Coach Mark Mangino is huge

Nice win over MSU on Saturday. Imagine MSU blowing another game against Michigan. I have already stated how much I love to see sad faces at College Football games. I felt so confident when Michigan was down by 10 due to MSU blowing a 17 point lead 3 years ago. Ryan Mallet needs much improvement next year. I'm not a fan of his and stated this multiple times. Henne played like a true Senior QB and was fantastic in the 4th quarter. Henne was limping badly and also had an injured shoulder. Michael Hart was basically playing with 1.5 legs since he was in one play then out 4 and back in for 2. Hart saved the game after Mallets first snap that he fumbled. Harts whole fucking lower leg was filled with tape. He then stated after the game that "Michigan State is like our younger brother, we let them get the lead then just start to really play and beat them up" Lick my balls MSU fans because your team blows and always will. It must suck to leave me confident, cocky away messages only to have your team blow yet another game. So eat my ass.

I'm waiting for pictures from the Halloween party on Saturday night. I went as Lt. Dangle from Reno 911, sadly my mustache didn't stay attached (shitty glue). The costume was uncomfortable and very snug in the crotch. Yes, I realize it's after Halloween and I would much rather stay at home and watch the #4Arizona State vs. #5 Oregon but this was a big to do and have to sacrifice much less than others do and go to shit with their significant others. My costume had no pockets so I didn't bring my digital camera. I will post pictures of my costume when I get them.

Zoo pics coming soon. Blogger will now allow me to post pics.

2 hard months of grinding

I want to play 130,000 in November and December combined. I also want to hit Supernova. Supernova players make up less than 1/10 of 1% percent of Poker Stars players. Poker Stars distributes points instead of rakeback. I want to save my points for as long as possible knowing that I can do multiple $1,500 bonuses. If I ever move out I will probably use the points for the 60 inch plasma television. I have been running at around 3.15bb/hr and I think my poor play has kept me from 5bb/hr. I know I have made some bad plays but also made some good ones.

Bill Belichick is the Coach of the New England Patriots and possibly the best coach in the history of Football. If you have never seen a post game press conference from Belichick then consider yourself lucky; he's boring, never happy about a win, and generally always thinks there were large errors in his teams play. Although no team ever plays a perfect game he expects it. I really think his attitude can be applied to viewing a poker session. He constantly strives to fix mistakes no matter how small they are. He was upset after the 52-7 win on Sunday because of 4 false starts (which is a lot). He was also upset about his specials teams players. His players are never excited and you can see it on their faces. With the score 38-0 a lineman jumped resulting in a false start and Tom Brady was ultra pissed off, cameras picked up a fuck thrown into his rant.

Can one win every single day playing poker? no. The point I'm making is to always find ways to improve, steal more blinds, check raise in certain spots, don't lead out on certain flops, etc. I had my biggest winning day this month in probably 6 months but yet felt I played very poorly and was upset with how I played. I know I cost myself some money in certain spots by making poor calls.

I plan to play another 2.5 hours today and about 4 hours tomorrow. With a strong November and December I will prove that I shouldn't return to school.

Hold your Aplause

I created a new blog http://sportsbettingasaninvestment.blogspot.com From here on out I will post my NFL picks. My goal is simple; to earn a better R.O.I. (return on investment for the stupid) than your stock broker, money manager, etc. I think pro Football is my strength but I'm also going to experiment with Basketball and possibly Hockey. I don't necessarily expect to win at Basketball or Hockey but I feel very confident that I can beat the art of betting pro Football.

I hate Halloween. Saturday I have to go to a Halloween party. I dislike dressing up in a costume. I know I'm in the vast minority, suck my balls. I have a pretty funny costume and hopefully I get to show off my Penis some. My old lady is going as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I personally hate the Dallas Cowboys but I have to admit they have some mighty hot ladies dancing in the corner of the end zone. A neat fact about the gf is she can do the splits all the way down and we love to fuck while shes on top doing the splits.

Jokes that have bombed in real life: I don't know how this topic was started but some friends and I were talking about it a week ago. I have a few that I personally think are hilarious yet I heard Crickets.
#1 While in Calculus of Macroeconomics my teacher came in after missing the previous class inexpediency and put a ultrasound printout on the overhead, I instantly blurted out hey that doesn't look me....... Crickets
#2 Business for Personal Finance Professor was on a wild tangent like he usually was and was asking if anyone knew how to keep the Love and Passion for there wife after 25 years of Marriage. Again I instantly blurted out (80 person class) turn the lights off. I received about 25% laughs, some dirty looks, shock on my Professors face. The girls mostly gave some dirty looks. Again, womens looks will decrease in time while a successful mans money will grow in time.
#3 and I feel my funniest awkward joke moment: While sitting at orientation very hung over from the O.S.U. vs. Florida game the night before the head officer at Wayne State was talking about this new program they want to install for women to feel safer living on campus. It's basically like a silent alarm thing they can carry on there person in case of a rape (the most common crime at college besides drinking crimes), anyways this hot girl that was asking multiple questions and was named lauren left to use the bathroom and this other creepy looking kid left like 10 seconds later, I said a little to loud to the kid next to me "I hope Lauren has her rape alarm" WOW did I ever get some glares.

Fuck yourself if you don't get at least a chuckle out of any of the quick thinking I demonstrated in the above examples.

New York: Were making plans to visit New York for 4 days (December 13-16) although the date isn't set in stone. We will likely be staying in New York City.
We want to do the following:
Rockefeller Center (to see the Christmas Tree, a major thing for me)
Carriage ride through Central Park
Visit ground zero
Take a Helicopter tour or boat tour of the Statue Of Liberty
Go to ESPN Zone
Eat at numerous expensive fancy restaurants
Go to Yankee Stadium
Go to Hard Rock Cafe
Go to Little Italy
See the Brooklyn Bridge
Go to Macy's (Her)
Go to Tiffany's (Her)
Go to the Mayfield Club (now closed but some of the best Poker Players developed their games at this card club. The building still stands and I want a picture of me outside the sign.
Etc.

I'm really excited to go on Vacation (we both need it) and to visit a place I have always wanted see. Yankee Stadium is so historical. Even if you are uneducated in Sports and don't know a single Yankee Player I would assume you have heard the name Babe Ruth. The Yankee Dynasties I grew up watching, the home of Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Don Mattingly, and of course the Dynasty of Joe Torre.

It's so refreshing to meet a girl that likes sports and actually has knowledge of sports and has the time and money to vacation. Sure it was fun slamming my cock into dumb 21 year old sluts for a while and treating them horrible to make them want me, fuck them, treat them like shit, rinse and repeat. I'm much happier now with one girl, that I fuck a lot, and can actually just feel normal around.

I'm happy about the Lions win on Sunday. It was a huge win on the road. I'm optimistic but yet very cautious before showing too much emotion. I have watched the Lions blow countless games in my lifetime and suck for years. Sunday was a great step.

I'm happy about the Red Sox winning the World Series because the Red Sox are my second favorite team behind the Tigers and I was a fan when they sucked. Alex Rodriguez to become a Detroit Tiger? Well A-Rod opted out of his contract with the Yankees. Detroit, L.A., Florida, Boston and Seattle are all interested. A-Rods agent Scott Boras also managers several current Tigers (Mags, Kenny Rogers) and has had fantastic results dealing with the Tigers in the past. Personally I would love to see A-Rod in a Tigers Jersey next season. His only blemish as a person was when he was caught leaving a strip club in Toronto with some nasty blonde skank while being married. Personally if women are dumb enough to marry a very rich, very good athlete, then they deserve it. Most women want the money and fame and that's why they do it. I would be exploring other Vagina if I married A-Rods wife (not hot). It's just like how every Suburban girl wants to fuck Eminem. I bet he got little pussy back in the day except from Kim.

Moving Quickly

Hopefully I don't spend a lot of time on this update but I often can't help my off topic rants, it just comes natural to me.

Aissa and myself went Apple picking on Sunday at a place in New Boston. Neither of us had much fun. The bees were horrible (I hate bees and was stung like 25 times on 4th of July when I was a youngster and hate them). I suffered about 10 Mosquito bites on my arms and neck. She wore sandals (bad choice on her part) and was miserable walking through the tall grass with them. I was carrying two Pumpkins across the street to my truck when some asshole didn't brake and allow me to cross the other half of the road which pissed me off. After about 1.5 hours of Apple picking we had enough. As we were exiting some bald, old, overweight guy yelled at Aissa for exiting through the wrong area (not a big deal). I mean he really started to scream at her for basically nothing so I told him to shut the fuck up or I would kick his ass. My chick is a second degree black belt in Tai Kwan Do and can handle herself but it pissed me off. Apple picking sounds like a pussy whipped, cute date idea but in reality in sucked. Between the sweat, blood from Mosquito bites, her ruined sandals, etc. it blew.

Since I never really took Football betting that serious and would just throw some money on the team I liked in the game I have decided to do a mock Football betting thing. Basically my ego is so large that I think through Statistics and math I can become a winner. I always ended up a little down or a little up at the end of the season. To be a winning sports better you need to win 52.4% of the time assuming a 10% VIC. The bulk of my bets will be NFL games but I will bet College probably a lot. The amount of people that are winning sports betters after 20 years is probably 100 people. Billions are wagered each year and only maybe 100 handicappers can beat the spread over 1/5 of a Century.

Here's the breakdown:
I will bet certain games and give them a STAR RATING. In this MOCK betting system I have $1,000 that I'm prepared to lose as a bankroll, this isn't rent, food money, or for bills or anything. Each Star is $20 to be bet. Again since I had a horrible start to the season I have decided to try this FOR FUN as I was BETTING for real prior to this Sunday. Perhaps next year I will bet again for real. I will post this past Sunday's games and my bets along with last nights. In the future I will do a blog update prior to the start of the games so everyone believes me. I had a losing day on Sunday so I'm not trying to jump ahead or cheat or anything. Here we go!!!

10-21-07 Picks
** 49ers vs. Giants, take over 39.5 WON
**** Baltimore vs. Buffalo take Baltimore -3 LOST
**** Pittsburgh vs. Denver take Pittsburgh -4 LOST
** Arizona vs. Washington take over 36 WON
*** Seattle vs. St. Louis take Seattle -8 WON
** Dallas vs. Minnesota take over 46.5 LOST

10-22-07
** Jacksonville vs. Indy take Indy -4 WON

So overall between Sunday and Monday I lost $40 or 2 stars. I should clarify what a VIC is for the non sports betters that read. The VIC is a percentage the better has to pay when they lose. For all games I'm using a 10% VIC (very common) Say I bet $100 on a game and I lose then I owe the bookie $110. Every game you lose you must pay an extra 10%, the VIC doesn't apply to games I bet and win, it never applies to wins.

BET AT YOUR OWN RISK IN REAL LIFE

Also, nice of my Ravens to lose to the Bills and nice Pitt. choking against a horrible Denver team. Easily should have at least split those games.

Manny, The Grady Gals, the zoo, etc

First off, fuck anyone that is chugging haterade and hating on Manny Ramirez for his cocky actions after hitting the third straight home run in the inning (Youkilis and Ortiz hit back to back). Manny knew he hit a home run and lightly dropped the bat, walked about 10 feet to first base and slowly jogged around the bases.

The Grady Gals are ugly. Wow, Cleveland has even worse looking women than Metro Detroit. The player is Grady Sizemore and women love him. First off he is just average looking which makes me believe these stupid bitches think he is hung like Lex Steele just because of his last name. These ugly women spell out his name on white t-shirts and each bitch wears a letter. Some of these bitches are like 21ish and some appear to be like a weathered 35, these bitches look more like The Golden Girls. Florida State has the Cowgirls which are simply flawless. They are hot, young, college students, tan, with perfect bodies. I wish I could link there website here but I don't know how. If you're interested just google Florida State University Cowgirls. I can only assume the average girl would say that they are "ok" or "she doesn't look that hot" sadly ladies any man will disagree with you even if it means getting no ass from you, at least he can have his hand and the fantasy of the Cowgirls.

The Zoo was a good time on Sunday. I was able to watch some Penguins eat and even swim. We looked at countless animals including, Giraffes, Penguins, Polar Bears, Grizzly Bears, Brown Bears, Wolverines, Seals, Eagles, Kangaroos, The Butterfly garden, Lamas, The Bird house, etc. We kinda ran out of time and didn't get to enter the Reptile area or the Amphibian building.

Aissa and me are going to be planning a vacation sometime soon. I would prefer Chicago or New York as I have never been to either. I would prefer to go to Chicago in late Summer to catch a Chicago Cubs game. I would prefer New York around December so I can see the big Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. I have always wanted to go to New York a few weeks before Christmas but only for a few days. So hopefully in early December we go to New York or Chicago. She has vacation time to use before the end of the year and I am smarter than anyone that preaches useless advice to me and work from home and create my own schedule. Not working for the man is awesome.

Dominic my Accountant is beyond an interesting man. I went in to pay some taxes based on 06 income last Thursday (notice I said based on 06 income NOT FROM 06), I don't want people to think I don't pay taxes. Dominic has been my parents Acct. for 30 years and I have gone to him since I started working at age 16. He doesn't talk on the phone, PERIOD. When you are in his office you are sitting about 15 inches away from him while he talks very very quietly. Dominic is a very smart Acct. and roughly 75 years old. He hides the absolute most from the Government which is what any person would want but his paranoia is almost funny to some extent. He smokes Moore's (the long brown cigarettes) one after another and has smoked 5 packs a day dating back to when my parents started going to him 30 years ago. Horses are his passion and owns several very expensive breads. He probably seems shady but he's just so damn good that the paranoia problems him. He doesn't have a big shinny new office, he has two assistants, drives a early 2000's Cadillac, yet will spend a few hundred grand on a horse.

Sorry blogger will not allow me to post pictures because they are having some technical issues so I will post Zoo pictures another time.

Going to the Zoo Sunday

I can't wait to see the Penguins. Apple picking is next Sunday (not super excited). Goal is from Monday the 15th to the end of the month to grind 30,000 hands. Baseball playoffs, college ball, pro football, hockey season starting, it's my favorite time of year. Christmas is around the corner (my favorite holiday by far).

I'm happy

I had a fantastic Anniversary Dinner last night followed by about 1 hour of fantastic sex. I'm a big fan of Penguins. For some reason I have always been intrigued and interested in Penguins. Some people like Monkey's others like Lions, I prefer Penguins. Aissa bought me a beanie baby Penguin which I dig. I have always said how much I appreciate the small things in life and small thoughts. It showed her care for me and that she truly does listen to me. I had a rough heads up session in O8 vs. a good player although I think he sucks and seems to be a douchebag, I'm referring to "Stevesbets" on Stars and "Glove55" on Full Tilt. I came out a small winner but should have easily murdered him. Aissa sent me an E-Card to cheer me up. Things like that mean the world to me.

LSU just beat Florida which I'm happy about. I watched the whole game and found it to be the best game I have watched this season. I hate The University Of Florida, their fans, head coach Urban Meyer, team, and of course arrogant QB Tebow. Sadly USC lost to Stanford in a major upset. I will be very glad to see John David leave USC and they can start a new QB.

I think after the Lions game tomorrow we might see the new Jamie Fox movie. We went golfing last Sunday and I soaked her panties (very cute with a butterfly on them) with an amazing putt and overall played awesome for not golfing basically at all this Summer, she shocked me for it being her first time golfing.

Taking a few days off

I probably will not play any poker until like Monday or so. I need a break to just relax and get my focus back. Friday is my one month anniversary so were going out to a nice dinner and then hanging out. College football, pro football, baseball playoffs, hockey season starting, I can easily take a few days off from the game without being bored out of my mind. I could say how bad I'm playing and running and tilting but whats the use? Taking a break is the best thing for me right now. My confidence is gone right now and that's a major problem, time is the only thing to regain it. Everyone always says to take a short break and you'll come back playing better. I have found this to be very true.

Beastie Boys Concert

I went to the Beastie Boys concert on Tuesday night at the Fillmore Theater Downtown with Aissa, her friend sadly couldn't go with her so I got to play fill in. I'm not a gigantic Beastie Boys fan, I probably like and know about 5 songs, one of which was played, Sabotage. It was an ok time considering the circumstances. I was supposed to go to the Tigers game last night but decided not to because I accomplished nothing on Tuesday due to a Dermatologist appointment, driving home, changing into a suit (had to dress to impress for the concert according to the website), driving back Downtown. BTW starting my third month of Accutane. My only side effect has been really dry lips and occasionally getting dry skin on my left arm.

Let me switch topics to black people begging for money Downtown. This pisses me off like no other. I just want to be left alone walking to a stadium or theater or whatever. I don't want to give anyone a cigarette, change, a spare dollar, a ticket, or anything else. I of course was walking in a nice suit to the concert making every black homeless person think I was Donald Trump and had money to support their Heroin addictions. Can the Detroit Police clean up Woodward Ave just a little. If these homeless people were smart (or even had a functioning brain) they would realize with Detroit being a shitty city that they could fill their shopping carts up with metal, aluminum, and whatever other shit and sell it to a metal buyer. I would estimate they could make enough for a pack of Kools, 5 40's of malt liquor, and at least a few slams of Heroin, all after digesting a warm meal. I find this very annoying as I don't like to be touched in general much less have a homeless drug addict grabbing my expensive suit coat. I don't think anyone reading this would like a homeless person to touch a nice dress, shirt, coat, etc. When leaving the concert Aissa and myself were talking in my car when some nigger starts banging on her window claiming to be in an emergency and needing help, #1 he should go to the gas station about 400 feet from where we are, #2 I don't know or trust this guy, #3 I can't beat up another junkie because then the judges will assume I'm getting my rocks off beating up these losers. I would feel the same way if it was a white, Arabic, Mexican, or any other race that was doing this.

The Detroit Lions: I was so full of rage last Sunday that I couldn't even get myself to post an edit to my last blog about the awful performance on Sunday. Me, you and 9 others couldn't play any worse than the Detroit Lions defense, the Eagles had the ball 6 times and scored 6 touchdowns before Detroit finally stopped them in the 3rd Quarter for the first time. I'm pissed about Calvin Johnson getting injured (one hell of a catch he made though). The Lions are cursed with drafting wide receivers. I'm getting pissed just thinking about the game and what to write.

I hate the athlete that acts like "the family man" thats why I hate Oscar de la Hoya. I like Floyd Mayweather because he is brash, outspoken, arrogant, etc. During the de la Hoya - Mayweather HBO series Mayweather rips de la Hoya and says "who the fuck wants to watch Oscar make a fucking Cappuccino or throw a stick to his dog, nigga fuck that, I'm real" Now Oscar de la Hoya "the family man" is hanging out with strippers while he himself is dressed in drag.

My blog on Cardrunners.com is blowing up huge. I had 137 views so far today. How awesome would it be to become a guest pro or full time pro showing others how to play poker by making videos of myself playing? To me it would be awesome. I'm training two people right now in Limit Hold em, one is playing 2/4, the other 5/10 although he will be moving to 10/20 by the end of October. Both students have improved drastically making about 35% more per hour than they were prior to the lessons. I feel confident saying I can teach them how to be winners at either 15/30 and maybe 30/60. 30/60 and above becomes a game aggression because everyone knows the right mathematical play. I have been spending about 3 hours a week coaching each of them and it's a nice break from playing (although I'm playing 40 hours a week myself), rewarding, and I of course am learning the thoughts that these guys are thinking which is educational in its own way. It feels so awesome to tell him to check raise instantly because this guy has shit for a hand and watch him do it and the guy folds. I would consider coaching in Omaha hi/low except the demand is not anywhere near what it is for Hold em.

In other poker news, I will hit Supernova status on Stars (a reward system that gives points for free shit like cash bonuses, electronics, etc). If I continue my leave of absence next year I will aim for Supernova Elite (Probably take 65 hours a week of 8 tabling). Only 3 people have became Supernova Elites this year, although I estimate about 5 others reaching it by December 31st.

I could rant about the ESPN Outside the lines report on the racial issues of the Michael Vick case but I would just be slamming black people. Black people are more racist than white people. I myself am disliking blacks more and more each day. What has a black invented to help the world? Don't say Eli Whitney and the cotton gin, he was just a lazy fuck lol. It's sad that people think white people are locking away an innocent person with the Vick trial. At least O.J is in deep shit, GO WHITE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! Ohh yea fuck Donovan McNabb and his stupid comments also. Rex Grossman, Matt Lienert, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, etc are all under more pressure than you.

Your Girlfriend isn't as cool as mine

So she just called me and said I was thinking about taking the Lions +5 against Philly because Brian Westbrook is out today, what do you think about that? I simply reply put me down $250 for the Lions +5. My chick bets football, gives great head, fucks like a porn star, has a good job, is super into me, doesn't give me shit about Poker, digs that I play that shit for a living, was super supportive when I decided to take the semester off, loves going to sporting events and watching sports with me (we watched Georgia vs. Alabama last night), and yes she's Asian. Many of my male readers have never slept with an Asian woman before, I highly advise it. This is my second Asian. If you didn't know most Asian girls really dig white guys so don't be a dripping wet pussy around an Asian chick and you might get your dick wet.

While driving down I 94 today to go to Aissa's house I noticed that I 94 was closed at I96 West (causing a major problem for me). I decide to get off at 9 mile road, I missed the I 94 East ramp and was forced to drive down Harper. While I was on Harper a woman at least 75 decided it would be a smart idea to shoot across 5 lanes of traffic from a parking lot on the opposite side of the street and try to go straight across Harper down a side street (God forbid this old bag drives around the block). She was driving a white Buick, fucking old people. I of course needed to swerve off the road, over a curb, missing a sign by 5 feet to avoid t -boning this old cunt. I then got back onto I 94 and took 94 East to 696 West, I then got off at Southfield Road and took the Southfield freeway which was a cluster fuck to I96 West. Total travel time 1.5 hours.

After dinner I had the pleasure to watch the Tigers CHOKE once again in a very very crucial game. I know all the women that know jack shit about baseball love Zumaya and Verlander but I got news for you they CHOKED. Jim Leyland also choked by not yanking either of them in the past 2 games. When you bring in a guy that pitched 2 straight days and allow him to give up 3 runs in the 8th inning I will say that was stupid, Leyland fucked up on Monday. Verlander gave up FOUR home runs tonight in the loss and flat out choked and blew a nice lead. I'm sick of watching the Tigers choke. 6-0 lead in Oakland last month in the 9th inning, pucker pucker pucker, allow 7 runs and lose the game in the 9th inning. Tigers stand no chance to win the AL Central and in my opinion about a 1% chance to win the Wild Card. Tigers are getting zero help from the Yankees as they seem to win about 8 out of every 10 games.

Lions Football: Let me tell you something, I know the team didn't look good last Sunday. I know we turned the ball over a ton but for Christ sakes did John Kitna ever step up. I have never seen someone act as a leader on this team (pretty important to be a winning team). Kitna came back after a concussion and pumped up this crowd and played his ass off. When 's the last time you seen a Lion QB dive head first to pick up 7 crucial yards? I know the Lions have a long way to go, by no means am I the biggest John Kitna fan but he stepped up which is rare for anyone wearing a Lions uniform. He played with heart and earned a lot of respect from me and many other fans. He got thrown in the air and spun around after gaining those 7 yards. He sacrificed his body and had a major role in them winning that game. You know what? Call me crazy but I like the Lions against Philly this Sunday, that Mike Martz timed offense looks like it's drastically improved from last year. Remember Martz and the Rams, "Best show on turf" is what they called it. His offense depends on precise routes and precise timing and wow did it look nice before Kitna was injured prior to his Ali like return. Being a leader and showing determination and not quitting is so contagious in sports.

On a 15k break even stretch right now. Fucking pissed off about that. Lost multiple big hands as a favorite most of the time, plenty of times I was at least a 4-1 favorite and lost. I think I haven't been playing my best but when you lose - break even one starts to doubt their own ability so maybe I'm playing well. I'm due for 18 buy in hot run. I of course included a photo in this update of the actual dealer at my tables on Poker Stars. Obv. a funny picture I found in a thread on 2+2.

Sports

No big secret I love sports. Start of the NFL season, Tigers in a race for the wild card position, and of course watching U of M get blown out and lose 39-7. I went to the Tigers game on Sunday afternoon, sadly they lost 14-7. I watched the game last night while flipping back from FSN to ESPN for Monday night football. Tigers scored 4 runs in the 9th inning with 2 outs to win, now they're 3.5 games back of the Yankees. Providing the rain holds off the Tigers play a double header today so I will have that game on at 1:05 pm. What an awesome Monday for sports as the Monday night double header to open the NFL season was phenomenal. First game was the Bengals who went 8-8-8 last year, 8 wins, 8 loses, and 8 players arrested and the Baltimore Ravens (I'm a big Ravens fan if you didn't know) sadly the Ravens lost a close game and also had multiple players injured (Ray Lewis, Steve McNair, and Reed) I'm very worried about Ray Lewis who is the heart and soul of the team, fantastic linebacker, and overall a complete beast, he tore his tricep muscle in the first defensive play of the game. McNair is injury prone although he played with two broken toes, a fractured sternum, and slightly separated shoulder all at once when he played for the Titans. In serious injury news: Keven Everett of the Buffalo Bills was carried off the field with a serious neck injury, who has paralysis and has a small chance to ever regain full movement of his body again. It's a rough sport and players know the chances are small of this but still could occur and accept this hoping it never happens to them because they love the game. Very sad. Big ups to the Detroit Lions for going up 17-0 in the 3rd quarter, to hearing Aissa say holy shit the Lions are losing 21-20, thankfully the Lions rebounded and won. Aissa isn't the biggest football fan but I explained blowing 17 point leads occurs at least 6 times a season and I'm used to it. Yes, the offense looked good but lets remember it was against the Raiders, although their defense is average to slightly above average. It was nice to see the offense actually score touchdowns. I'm of course not holding my breath (as any smart Lions fan would agree). So let all the Moms rush out and buy their little rug rat a Calvin Johnson jersey. I of course am a Lions fan but yet I'm smart enough to realize it was week 1 of the season and Lions have sucked for over 50 years, they have never been a good team.

Poker has been going AWESOME, taking this semester off was a really good idea. I really don't think I will be attending school anymore because I'm playing smart. I'm playing the best Poker of my life and others agree. I'm sticking to the games I can beat. I'm not playing heads up (although I think I play great heads up, my results have been horrible, although the swings are really really big heads up) and I don't really need big swings. I'm grinding the games I can beat and will move up accordingly when my bankroll hits the proper amount. I'm not playing Sit n goes because the swings are sick also, although I show a ROI of about 9% in the 109's. I'm not playing tournaments. All I'm playing is no limit cash games with no more than 6 people at a table (6max) and playing 4 tables at once.

Random shit: We had 5th row 3rd base tickets to the Tigers game on Sunday and like 4 foul balls were within say 50 to 75 feet of us. I bought a cool Tigers zip up hooded sweatshirt at the game, I was kinda surprised it was $65. I'm not cheap but I was kinda shocked. Everything is going really well and I'm happy with life.

The biggest decision I have ever made

I made the decision after driving in and arriving downtown late for my first class at roughly 9:55 a.m. to take the semester off from school in hopes of quitting for good (Yes, I guess you can say I would be a College dropout). I've been doing some real soul searching about what I would want to do in life. I honestly would rather be dead than the guy in the 2 year old Kia, with the dog shit suit, stuck in traffic, humping an entry level job with his degree. I made the decision to attend Business School. At this moment the idea of working or being middle Mgmt. nauseates me, it's not what I want to do in life right now. Michael Dell dropped out of college and he's worth over 15 billion dollars.

I plan to play roughly 30-35 hours a week, strictly 6 max no limit cash games. I will work when I want, although I would like to start getting up at about 10 a.m. I'm excited about the opportunity and feel free. This is a fairly unusual way to make a living (in most peoples eyes, although there are many, and many others make side income doing this).

I lost my passion for school right now. I have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.7, have 70% of my degree completed, excelled at any and all subjects. I just don't have the passion to sit in class and learn from the horrible teaching staff at W.S.U. I've had a few nice teachers but the majority of them were mediocre to terrible (see rant about cunt COM3300 teacher in I believe Junes archive). I don't more intelligent for attending school. When I speak of how dumb people should be killed I'm referring to people that are basically idiots at life, some have college degrees, some don't. It's not me picking on people that don't have college education. Perfect example: I'm driving down Hall Road and a black Mercedes is going 40mph in a 50mph zone, I pass and look at him, of course he is shaving. This guy is a moron, has money, but yet isn't needed in society. The Republican in me hates how people that are capable of working choose to sit around with 8 kids and bleed a system to death. Sure I want to see the poor get help (help the guy thats holding the sign "homeless need money for food, God bless" that sits on the I94 exit at 7 mile, help the guy thats sitting at the I94 exit and Woodward and Brush that is missing a leg, homeless, in a wheel chair, without a beer in his hand, missing half a dozen teeth, that has a sign "War Veteran, homeless and need spare change") Don't help the people that are capable of providing and are suffering only from laziness.

Back on track now, I apologize. I told my parents and they support my decision and my Mom even says how she thinks I'm making a good choice. Life is about choices, some are correct and some aren't. Life is also about discovering yourself. My plan is to play poker full time until December 2007. If I'm unhappy doing this I will return to school in January. It's clear I have a passion for the game. I honestly believe if you follow your heart in life you will find happiness. Ones heart may get hurt but your passion will never allow your heart to break. I have made a good choice and it's supported by 3 people I care about and respect their opinions. In the end the decision is mine, I would go ahead with this anyways but it's wonderful to get support when making a life altering decision. Would it be too Hollywood for me to quote Rounders right now? I'll refrain lol.

As a side note: I'm seeing a wonderful girl that I just met. She's a big sports fan, nice, caring, easy to talk to, not a big drinker or club rat, works a good job, likes me, is fantastic in bed, gives the best blow job I've ever gotten (many girls have sucked my dick). She doesn't read this so I'm not just trying to be nice or anything. She knows more about the Tigers than anyone I know, male or female. I sent her a text message and then she called me and I explained what I did. NO I don't need to justify it to her, I have my balls still and wear pants. She said "cool you know I support you baby" how many girls hated me even playing while going to school and here this girl is saying that, I was honestly shocked. Girls my age and younger seem to have a hard time relating to shit, they're out of touch with reality (I blame My Sweet 16). I went out with this one girl a few weeks ago and I said something about Michael Vick and she was like ohh I don't know who that is or what he did. Even if you don't watch football it has been on every news channel, comedy show, etc. Then she said why is that wrong, meaning dog fighting (she has a dog herself). I'm very happy with Aissa (pronounced ICE -AH), shes Asian and I love me an Asian girl. She's 29 by the way, we both have no problem with the age difference. Filipino women tend to age really really well. Her Mom is like 64 but looks under 40 plus it's common for most Asians to look younger than they really are. She looks no different than girls I know that are 20 or 21.

Anyways, I just wanted everyone to know what I'm doing.
