Sports

No big secret I love sports. Start of the NFL season, Tigers in a race for the wild card position, and of course watching U of M get blown out and lose 39-7. I went to the Tigers game on Sunday afternoon, sadly they lost 14-7. I watched the game last night while flipping back from FSN to ESPN for Monday night football. Tigers scored 4 runs in the 9th inning with 2 outs to win, now they're 3.5 games back of the Yankees. Providing the rain holds off the Tigers play a double header today so I will have that game on at 1:05 pm. What an awesome Monday for sports as the Monday night double header to open the NFL season was phenomenal. First game was the Bengals who went 8-8-8 last year, 8 wins, 8 loses, and 8 players arrested and the Baltimore Ravens (I'm a big Ravens fan if you didn't know) sadly the Ravens lost a close game and also had multiple players injured (Ray Lewis, Steve McNair, and Reed) I'm very worried about Ray Lewis who is the heart and soul of the team, fantastic linebacker, and overall a complete beast, he tore his tricep muscle in the first defensive play of the game. McNair is injury prone although he played with two broken toes, a fractured sternum, and slightly separated shoulder all at once when he played for the Titans. In serious injury news: Keven Everett of the Buffalo Bills was carried off the field with a serious neck injury, who has paralysis and has a small chance to ever regain full movement of his body again. It's a rough sport and players know the chances are small of this but still could occur and accept this hoping it never happens to them because they love the game. Very sad. Big ups to the Detroit Lions for going up 17-0 in the 3rd quarter, to hearing Aissa say holy shit the Lions are losing 21-20, thankfully the Lions rebounded and won. Aissa isn't the biggest football fan but I explained blowing 17 point leads occurs at least 6 times a season and I'm used to it. Yes, the offense looked good but lets remember it was against the Raiders, although their defense is average to slightly above average. It was nice to see the offense actually score touchdowns. I'm of course not holding my breath (as any smart Lions fan would agree). So let all the Moms rush out and buy their little rug rat a Calvin Johnson jersey. I of course am a Lions fan but yet I'm smart enough to realize it was week 1 of the season and Lions have sucked for over 50 years, they have never been a good team.

Poker has been going AWESOME, taking this semester off was a really good idea. I really don't think I will be attending school anymore because I'm playing smart. I'm playing the best Poker of my life and others agree. I'm sticking to the games I can beat. I'm not playing heads up (although I think I play great heads up, my results have been horrible, although the swings are really really big heads up) and I don't really need big swings. I'm grinding the games I can beat and will move up accordingly when my bankroll hits the proper amount. I'm not playing Sit n goes because the swings are sick also, although I show a ROI of about 9% in the 109's. I'm not playing tournaments. All I'm playing is no limit cash games with no more than 6 people at a table (6max) and playing 4 tables at once.

Random shit: We had 5th row 3rd base tickets to the Tigers game on Sunday and like 4 foul balls were within say 50 to 75 feet of us. I bought a cool Tigers zip up hooded sweatshirt at the game, I was kinda surprised it was $65. I'm not cheap but I was kinda shocked. Everything is going really well and I'm happy with life.
